This morning, October 30th, we attended a conference entitled “Everything is connected: European opportunities for the cultural sector”: “Todo está conectado. Oportunidades Europeas para el sector cultural”. It was held in Madrid, in the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The three themes on which this conference has focused have been on the three European calls related to culture: Creative Europe, Erasmus + and Europe with citizens.

The program has started with a round table entitled “Synergies between European Programs: Erasmus + funding opportunities, Creative Europe and Europe with citizens”. The speakers were D. Augusto Tungsten, head of the Creative Europe-Culture Office and European Citizenship Point, Ministry of Culture and Sports, and Ms. Beatriz Tourón Torrado, Head of Service of KA1 and KA2 of the School Education Unit and Adults, Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MCIU).

After a break, another roundtable has been held but this time to discuss examples of good practices. It has been starring by Ms. Lucía Rincon, from Rey Ardid Foundation, Mr. José Antonio Álvarez Pacheco, from INTER Youth Foundation and Ms. Natalia Neira Carrión, Coordinator of Associative Development and Youth, from ASPAYM Castilla y León Foundation.
